JACK LANE
This piece holds a special story from 2022, when I was expecting my first and only child. It began with a serendipitous find – jade flowers spotted by my sister on Facebook Marketplace. They were still there on the roadside when I went to collect them, a small gift from the universe.
Inspired, I gathered an array of Hawaii's natural treasures: delicate orchids, bold protea, and those found jade flowers. I wove them together with graceful palm fronds to create this composition. The name "Jack Lane" came naturally – it was the street sign I passed each week during my pregnancy commute on the Pali Highway into Honolulu, a constant reminder of the son growing within me who would share that name.
This image captures more than just flowers; it's a memory of anticipation, of new life, and of those quiet moments during my pregnancy when everything seemed touched by magic. The composition features an elegant blend of tropical elements: mysterious palm fronds dancing through the frame, ethereal orchids, statement protea blooms, and those fateful jade flowers that started it all.
Each print is carefully matted by hand to ensure the highest quality presentation, creating the perfect float between the artwork and your chosen frame.
