“DAWN PATROL - HK” is one of the pieces from the ongoing developing Natural Habitat series. This series explores the concept of home. “DAWN PATROL - HK” is inspired by another piece that was commissioned by a private collector. In it, the surfers overlook the NYC cityscape. The artist wanted to take that concept and make it her own, this time depicting the scenery that she grew up seeing - the cityscape of Hong Kong, from the Kowloon side.
In this piece, the four surfers overlook the cityscape for the surf break. Maybe there are surf out there that only they can see. Can you also spot the fourth surfer? She’s hiding among the monochromatic world!
