HALEIWA, HAWAIʻI — October 1, 2026 — Greenroom Gallery Hawaii is pleased to present “Woven Within,” a new collection of original works by Oʻahu-born, Honolulu-based artist and illustrator Kelsie Dayna.
The exhibition will open with a special reception on Saturday, October 24, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at Greenroom Gallery Haleiwa. Guests are invited to meet the artist and experience the new collection in person.
ABOUT “WOVEN WITHIN”
Woven Within is a deeply personal collection exploring the courage it takes to embrace who we truly are.
Inspired by geisha as devoted artists and keepers of traditional arts, Kelsie uses bold color, intricate patterns, and layered compositions to explore themes of creativity, self-discovery, identity, and transformation.
Much like the layers of a kimono, each work becomes a visual language of color and pattern, reflecting the different stories, experiences, and inner worlds woven within each of us.
The collection features eight original acrylic paintings on canvas, ranging in size from intimate 20 × 20-inch works to larger 30 × 40-inch pieces. Kelsie Dayna_Woven Within
ABOUT KELSIE DAYNA
Kelsie Dayna is a Honolulu-based illustrator and artist born and raised on the island of Oʻahu. Her work is recognized for its bold colors, dynamic compositions, and playful sensibility rooted in storytelling and community.
After losing her corporate office job during the pandemic, Kelsie transformed her lifelong love of art into a professional career. Through her own creative journey, she hopes to encourage others to pursue their passions regardless of age or experience. Kelsie Dayna_Woven Within
